- LargeFilesASAP - Free 2GB browser based file transfer. Simple and no crap. (HYPERGURU: Yes, fill-in the destination email, write a quick message, browse the file and upload it. It worked flawlessly. 2 February 2006)
Paid services to share files
- http://www.sharefilesdirectly.com/ - PAID - Requires installation. Trial available. Wasn't able to test it. (HYPERGURU: bleah!)
- Penokio - PAID - Software tool. Require installation. Not easy to understand how to use it (HYPERGURU: what-is-it?)

- http://www.blogtorrent.com/ - Blog Torrent is free, open-source software from Downhill Battle that provides an easy way to share large files on your website without large storage or bandwidth costs
Online File sharing services in English
- MyBloop.com - The world can share files for free, without storage limits.
- iStorage - Paid service. 30 days trial. Iomega iStorage. File storage, access and sharing by email.
- Box.net - Paid service to store 1 GB of files for 2.99 USD per month. 5GB of storage for $8.99.RSS filefeed for file list updates.
- Streamload - 10 gb storage. Send, receive, store and access. Sharing of files up to 2 GB in size. Paid to download up to 10 GB per month. (via Mike Corrales of Streamload)
- MediaMax Streamload - That will include even more features and higher limits for free users. Meanwhile, paying users will get 250 GB of online storage and the ability to share up to 25 GB for $9.95 a month. MediaMax is a full Online Media Center with 5 services wrapped into one central application. It allow easy video sharing, photo sharing, remote music, movie, and recorded television access. There are no file size limits in Streamload MediaMax and the free account allows unlimited sharing with other MediaMax users or sharing up to 500 MB per month via email links (with non-users). - FilesAnywhere - Using GroupShare you can share any of your remote folders with other users, and assign different access rights to each user. - Grouper - Grouper is a private P2P app that makes it easy and safe to share large files in a group context. (via Josh Felser)
- openomy - Heavily in beta but worth a look. Only 10 MB of storage at the moment. More info about openomy.
- Gmail not really a file storage thing but it is possible with gmail :)
